Administration Manager- Pharmacy

Band 5: (£27,055- £32,934)

Hours: Full time, 37.5, permanent.

As an Admin Manager you will be a core part of the Pharmacy team, offering support and leadership to a number of staff. This is a newly created post, and therefore is a great opportunity for someone to join the team to build the role.

You may be required to work in other designated locations of the Trust as well as your primary base. In particular, flexibility is required across the three main hospital sites (Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital).

Main duties of the job

You will work closely with your Service Manager and General Manager to ensure effective service development, innovation and operational management. The post holder will also work closely with our Senior Personal Assistant, providing cross cover to the Pharmacy Leadership Team as and when required.

The post holder is responsible for the operational management of speciality/department administrative staff on an ongoing basis, supervising staff across site where applicable. They are required to facilitate the continuous provision of a high-quality administrative support to healthcare professionals of all grades and disciplines, service users and CMG management.

The post holder must provide leadership, direction and support to admin staff whilst developing effective working relationships, efficient practices and a motivated workforce.
